Since 01.01.2010, the exhaust gas analysis has been integrated into the main vehicle inspection. The legislator requires regular vehicle checks to ensure safety on Germany's roads. Each vehicle owner must therefore present his car at regular, legally fixed intervals to the main vehicle inspection (HU). Depending on the vehicle type, it is carried out every 12 to 24 months and usually together with the exhaust gas test (AU).

• The number in the middle shows the year of the next inspection - here in 2007.
